Meet my dogs
Fancy, my current dog, is a Working Cocker Spaniel (WCS). WCS are a common breed in the UK but not often seen in Australia. She is a bolt of lightning and is far more clever than I am. Fancy learns new tricks in minutes and is the training companion and cuddle bug I always dreamed of. However, Fancy challenges me in new ways everyday with her strong prey drive, seemingly endless energy and constantly sandy belly.

Lacey was my first 'own' dog. She was an Irish Setter who loved nothing better than running free in the South Downs National Park while I biked alongside her. She was accomplished in Scent Work and Tracking and I could take her anywhere and everywhere with me. Her sensitive nature lead me to discover the world of clicker training and she taught me about the need for cooperative care and the importance of consent in dog welfare. Sadly, just after her second birthday she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Lymphoma. I moved with her to Brecon where she was able to live out her best days in the Brecon Beacons national park.

Lilly, my tiny terrier mix, lived an adventurous life, moving with us from Australia to Hong Kong and across Europe. Despite bringing her home at eight weeks and raising her with love, she grew into a dog that barked, lunged, and bit at other dogs. We joked about her "rottweiler" personality, not recognising her distress for what it was and how we had failed to socialise her appropriately. Lilly's struggles sparked my passion for educating owners on canine body language, breeding, and socialisation, as well as helping reduce fear and nervousness in adult dogs.
